Clark County Championship Will Award Cash Prize To Top Local Runners

If you've been a resident of Clark County, Nevada for the past six months or longer, you have a chance to win a cash prize if you're the first local man or the first local woman to cross the Finish Line.

Local men who expect to finish the race in less than 3 hours and 15 minutes or women who will run it in less that 3:30 are asked to contact by no later than Friday, December 1st at 5:00 pm in order to establish eligibility. The Clark County Championship prize purse is being offered by race organizer Devine in support of the local running community.

On Course Support

The Las Vegas Marathon will offer participants great race day support including water stations every mile beginning at mile 2; sports drink every other mile beginning at 3; energy gel at 13 and 18; and porta potties at every mile beginning at 1.

How Many Elvis-es Does It Take To Run The Marathon? - New Division Of Showgirls Set As Well

We are looking to put together the World's Largest Collection of Elvis marathon runners. We already have the .2 and we are looking for 26 more Elvi to start the Marathon together on December 7. By popular demand from participants, the 2008 race will also feature runners dressed as showgirls. Please contact to join the fun.
